The Tiniest Joke. The Biggest Laugh of Today.

I laughed and then laughed all over again when I attempted to explain just what was so funny about this little gem. For those who have an understanding of science basics you know what I am talking about. Hopefully, you find it as funny as I do. For the science humor newbies, o gosh, I am going to give it my all of a quick yet not completely brain-numbing explanation.

In the picture are two atoms. If you know a little something about atoms then you know when an atom has equal number of electrons and protons it holds a charge of zero. So if the atom, in this scenario, loses an electron it will become 'positive.' Get it? Are you positive?

When Making Gingerbread Houses....Reality is Just to Funny

My aunt decided to bring back the 'gingerbread house' Thanksgiving tradition. You would assume being in your twenties makes you a gingerbread master. Not so. I laughed so hard at this because it just about sums up this year's skills.

The only thing missing is my older sister's firm guided belief at being able to make a tree out of three tootsie-rolls and half a can of green frosting. I tried pointing out it really was not feasible to do so. The end result was disturbingly hilarious. Probably the best thing ever created with stale Halloween candy and family creativity. Ah. The holidays. Always a good time to find something to laugh about!

Pass the Butter. Time to Lubricate My Arteries and Veins!

I know I am lactose-intolerant, butter is typically no friend of mine, but today I found it downright hilarious. Perhaps it's the innocent looking boy or simply his meal consisting entirely of butter in different sizes which take a funny tip to being laugh worthy.

Ah. The world makes sense again!
Laugh I did. After hearing about 'eat this,' 'don't eat that', 'last week this was good for you, now it's not' I think it is about time we all had a laugh. The biology lover in me is pointing out precisely what, at a biochemistry level, makes butter just what it is. The pre-med student is going 'tsk tsk' to the whole scenario. While the crazy humor side is saying now that is a funny as hell way to look at this!

For future use: next time someone asks if I can have a bit of 'butter' I now have a reply. 'I would love some butter! It's been a while since I lubricated those arteries and veins of mine!' We shall see what they have to say!

Pigeon Droppings for Deep Thought

I have had the literal 'experience' of being the statue. At the time it was pretty awful. Now, I laugh. Which is why this quote was the reason for my laugh today. What better way to describe the complexities of life than reduce it to simplest truth?

Sometimes life just 'poops' on you. The bad stuff happens. Typically feels like all in the same day. Then comes the days where you are the one flying up high. Let's hope you aren't doing to much of the pigeon 'thing' from up there. Either way, you just gotta accept how it goes, laugh, and be glad for a hot shower at the end of the day.

Dying from Laughing, Might Not Be a Bad Way to Go

I laughed when I saw this. Did not die but definitely laughed a little much for this body to appreciate. Call it black humor or simply morbid but I do see the humor in how 'laughter is the best medicine' yet people can die from it.

The practical side of me says,'everything in moderation dearie' but laughter in moderation just does not sound as wonderful. Besides, I like a little risk-taking in this life of mine....
