Share the Last Cookie

I never was a big Sesame Street kid. I preferred Mr. Rogers odd world to the eclectic land of Big Bird. But even I could not help but love Cookie Monster. There is just something beautiful in a creature whose diet consists solely of deliciousness. He must also have the world's best metabolism as he does not appear to ever gain a pound.

Enough about the creature himself. His words are what make for today's hum
or. They do not do it in fancy terms but in the ever amusing way of Cookie Monster. How better to express a friendship than in sharing what you love with someone you care for?

Humor Goes Beyond the Grave

I find myself laughing at people with such a sense of humor about something most of us tiptoe around. Of course there are always those who will sniff at the outrageous idea of messing with the seriousness of death. Personally I have no problem with it. You are the only one who will experience your own death. Make of it what you will.

1. "I told you I was Sick...BASTARDS!"

When I first became sick this would have been my
tombstone of choice against the first useless doctor. The vindictive part of me would hope he got a good look. Maybe put his name in parentheses next to bastard. I'm beyond such anger now especially since he has come to recognize his very big mistake. I'm sure all those 'bastards' feel just as stupid now. If not, this person has found a sure way to remind them.

2. Humorous and a Bit on the Disturbing Side

When I started reading this tombstone I was not quite sure where it was going. Passion? Check. Loves Horses? Okay. Women? Okay. Then make me into a saddle? WHAT? Thankfully the last line brings it all together in a slightly perverted humorous way. This man was clearly one of a kind.

 3. Expired Parking.
They explain it best.

4. "I like big bucks..and I cannot lie."

This man went to the grave being honest about what he loved to do. I laughed too because of the way it is written. My own family would be horrified at the idea of doing such a thing but I believe this man is brilliant. He doesn't let death stop him from letting others know about his passion.

 5. Atheist. All Dressed Up. Nowhere to Go.

This epitaph says one of the many parts of humor I find in atheism and death. Because when you die and you're an atheist then you truly are dressed up with nowhere to go.

6. "SPANKS"

There's a part of me which always secretly wishes I had a name which could be amusing. If I did I am sure one of my siblings would do something slightly sneaky to my tombstone. Perhaps the SPANKS never saw the humor in this. Maybe they would be horrified at seeing their tombstone in such a way. I want to let them know (wherever you are) you made my day just a bit brighter without having said a word.

 7. Nothing Like the Obvious

Getting laid to rest in the cemetery usually implies you are dead. But why not make sure everyone knows for sure? Literally spell it out for them: D-E-A-D in huge letters.

 8. Knock Knock Jokes Literally From the Grave

I never was a knock knock joke person but this grave has given me a whole new insight into their potential. What a way to skip the typical phrases and uniquely tell the world you love someone.

9."Got Coffee Lord?"

I don't know if this is meant to be a Spaceballs reference (I apologize if offense is taken at that possibility). The point is not where the words came from, unless they happened to be a serious serious fan. Regardless I laughed. Kudos to you for sharing what you love.

10. Isn't it Ironic?

I am sure there are people who see this picture and don't find a humourous thing about it. Ah. Irony is not for everyone. As for me I spot a brilliant work. I would use this funeral home just so people would find the humorous irony.
